Deja Vu, not another Android micro gaming console! Those devs will be working extra hard to support this lot. Just announced, Mad Catz who do a cool range of gaming peripherals are launching their own Micro Console.

“M.O.J.O. is basically a supercharged smart phone with no screen that plugs into your flat screen TV to bring the living room experience to mobile gaming. M.O.J.O. is designed to interact seamlessly with our GameSmart controllers, mice, keyboards and headsets, in fact, the entire eco-system of gaming peripherals,” said Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc.

The press release is very light on details, and there’s nary a hardware spec to share. Digging a bit, we found other sites reporting some of the following:
16GB of internal storage
Two USB ports
HDMI

At CES 2013 the company unveiled a series of peripherals that would be compatible with most platforms including mobile for mobile gamers. The compatibility will be built right into the GameSmart products so there won’t be any need for any sort of real set-up aside from tweaking your peripheral’s settings to how you want them. The entire line of products that feature GameSmart technology will be compatible with Tegra devices. This includes the R.A.T.M. mouse, F.R.E.Q.M headset, M.O.U.S.9 wireless mouse and the C.T.R.L.R wireless gamepad, all of which can already connect through Bluetooth already.

Given that Google release gaming tools at IO this year could be see the return of the Nexus-Q games console?
